The day the Speeders disappeared
An amazing thing happened on my road on the day of the recent Royal Wedding. For the first time I actually saw children playing football outside my door, on the road. It was a shock as I did not realise how many kids lived on my road. It was a lovely day. There was no speeders and no cut through drivers to be seen or more specifically to be heard. Our road was blocked off and the community came out and celebrated, it was a real street party, because for that day the residents of my road were allowed to be a community.

I won't take bribes and I will always be on the side of the good.
Since moving to Barnet I have discovered that I really love this Borough, it's parks, it's incredible architecture, it's Underground Stations, and the fact that it is part of this great Metropolis and that it encompasses a truly rich mix of cultures and beliefs. But almost immediately on my arrival I noticed that things were rather mouldy and stagnant in the political and social running of beautiful Barnet. It made me wonder who was truly speaking in defence of this beautiful Borough and it's residents? Therefore I have decided to send out and hopefully exchange messages with others who care for it's future. In pursuit of this ideal note that I won't take bribes and I will always be on the side of the good.
